MILWAUKEE — The Wisconsin LGBT Chamber of Commerce is pleased to welcome MilliporeSigma as the organization’s newest gold member. MilliporeSigma has previously been a regular corporate member of the LGBT Chamber since early 2021.

“We are honored that MilliporeSigma has decided to increase its partnership with the Wisconsin LGBT Chamber to become our newest gold member,” said Jason Rae, President & CEO of the Wisconsin LGBT Chamber of Commerce. “As we celebrate Pride Month, we are thrilled about the impact that this increased investment will have in building and supporting the LGBTQ+ and allied community in our beautiful state.”

“We aspire to mirror the diversity of our customers and the communities in which we live and serve, and to empower our employees to bring their authentic selves to work where all are included,” said Jeffrey Lasselle, Site Director at MilliporeSigma. “Diversity and inclusion are a cornerstone of our culture. We believe that our differences should be celebrated and that an inclusive culture inspires creativity, innovation, and will encourage each of us to reach our full potential and do amazing work together. Our partnership with the Wisconsin LGBT Chamber will allow us to have a tremendous impact on building an inclusive business community in Wisconsin and across the nation.”

As a gold member, MilliporeSigma will receive a seat on the Chamber’s Leadership Council, as well as other benefits above the regular corporate level.

“MilliporeSigma has been a leader in inclusion in the workplace, from scoring a perfect 100 in the Human Rights Campaign’s Corporate Equality Index to hanging the Pride Flag at company sites for Pride Month,” added Rae. “They are helping lead the way in building an inclusive business community.”
