MILWAUKEE — Wisconsin’s LGBT business owners now have a new advocate in the state through the Wisconsin LGBT Chamber of Commerce. The newly formed organization is an organization of gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and gay-allied businesses, professionals and individuals throughout the state of Wisconsin.
“While there are other organizations that represent the state’s LGBT community, until now, no organization has represented the entire state’s LGBT business community,” says Jason Rae, founder and executive director of the Wisconsin LGBT Chamber of Commerce. “Our role is to connect LGBT and gay-allied businesses in the state with government and provide economic opportunities for our members.”
The Wisconsin LGBT Chamber of Commerce will also offer networking opportunities, business development efforts within the LGBT community and educational programming to its members.
